Video Game Addiction: Day-to-Day Deaths
When we say Deaths because of Video Gaming, it isnât always a physical death. More often, itâs more of a hypothetical death. There are physical deaths, but a lot of video game addicts play games with leaving their body in the real world and their brain flying around the game world. Youâre body is physically there, but usually thereâs no response when youâre called. You donât even nod. Deaths because of Video Game Addiction has the beginning symptoms that can be compared to a physically paralyzed man on a hospital bed where his body is physically there but all he can do is move his eyes and talk through murmuring. A hypothetically dead Video Game Addict is there at present time, but his mind is in the digital world. They are the people that hear you when you talk and often times would answer by just murmuring a yes-like answer or give you a nod without even understanding what youâve said. These are the people that needed to be awoken from the comatose of gaming or else their life will dip south. Theyâll lose the important stuff in life like their work or studies, social life with friends, communication with the family and lots more. If you discover someone important whose body is sitting in front of the computer but is not responding due to prolonged gaming, better snap him out of it even by just tapping and talking to him calmly afterwards. Tapping zooms him back into the real world and with the combination of a calm voice, you tame his irate present state because he left the game world. Itâs better to pull him out of the game world rather than not do anything because heâs going to miss out on his family life, a chance to get promoted at work, a chance to graduate and a chance to just bond with friends. Would you let him miss out on those? I hope not.
